Not worth the high price

Not worth the high price. Builder level, and that's what it is. The fan blades were so out of balance that all three weight plates had to be used to steady them. I've never installed a fan that requires all the weights, and some fans don't need them at all. The two colors (double-sided blades) did not have much color difference. Yes, there was a difference, but not much (maybe by three tones). The matte finish looked VERY matte, blurry and very mottled. I still have a Hunter brushed nickel fan (6 years old now) and it looks very professional; anything but boring and dirty. The lights use B10 candelabra sockets so none of my LED lights I currently have will fit. The fan comes with 60W bulbs. With today's high energy costs and modern LED technology, you would think Hunter would supply true LED lamps with such a "high quality" (at the current price!) fan. I don't see a way to turn on a light that draws 180 watts from three SMALL bulbs! Only time will tell how well this fan will perform. I turned off the lightbulbs to conserve heat and energy. They generate quite a bit of heat for such small bulbs. While the fan can be pretty quiet, I doubt I'll keep the second one I bought. I would prefer a refund. All in all, I would not recommend this expensive construction fan to anyone. Either with a different brand or something else. This fan is not worth it. I gave him 1 extra star because he's pretty quiet, so I'll give him that.
