As with any ceiling fan, assembly and installation is labor intensive, more than 100 steps. The result is exactly what I wanted. Not worth the high price. Builder level, and that's what it is. The fan blades were so out of balance that all three weight plates had to be used to steady them. I've never installed a fan that requires all the weights, and some fans don't need them at all. The two colors (double-sided blades) did not have much color difference. We bought two of these fans and I installed the last one myself. They work great once installed, they're quiet (unless you're hypersensitive to noise) and move a significant amount of air to keep your bedroom cool even at low temperatures.
