Review on 💡 Hunter Builder 52106 Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Pull Chain Control, 42-inch, in Brushed Nickel Finish by Sara Gallegos

We bought two of these fans and I installed the last one myself. They work great once installed, they're quiet (unless you're hypersensitive to noise) and move a significant amount of air to keep your bedroom cool even at low temperatures. My only complaint is that it took me about three frustrating hours to install it myself. If I was an experienced installer it would certainly be done faster. I have installed lights before, but this was my first ceiling fan. The heart of the problem lies in the parenthesis. The bracket was about 1 inch wider and couldn't fit the outlet. My house is 25 years old and maybe the outlets have changed? No problem, after a few adjustments to compress the mount I was able to get it out. screw correctly into the output box. The rest of the assembly went smoothly until the grille/canopy covering the fan hinge in the mount and the wiring had to be bolted down. It screws into the mount, which I adjusted so it doesn't come in. Now I'm about to install the bracket. It was an awkward half hour struggling with him to level the lantern and screw it to the bracket with two very short screws. I've said some very bad things. :) After that the rest of the installation of the slats and light was a breeze. I would buy another one despite the problems. I will be prepared for any problems that may arise and have a reliable helper stronger than me to adjust the bracket and protection. Still a note - after about six months the h-switch on the first installed fan, which controls the fan speed, stopped working. The only speed it runs at is low. I hope to be able to replace the switch.
