Review on 💡 Hunter Builder 52106 Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and Pull Chain Control, 42-inch, in Brushed Nickel Finish by Barbara Lawler

Six months later the headlights burned out. The fan ran and still ran, but the light is not on. Crazy. We replaced all the lightbulbs but to no avail and an electrician came to our home to check the wiring was OK. Considering that the ceiling fan was installed correctly from the start and has been working (both lights and fans) for over six months, the problem is not due to a faulty installation. Today the electrician came again, but the light still doesn't work. It looks like the "light box" in the fan tray has "blown out" and needs to be replaced. So now we need to buy and install this part and hope the light works. Now we can use a fan, but cooking "on a fan" is difficult - this ceiling fan is in the kitchen. I have always loved Hunter ceiling fans and they can be found in every other room in the house. This is the first to "pass out" in just six months. Contacting Hunter didn't help, and Revain has no other method (other than this "review") to report less than excellent performance. It was a great ceiling fan while it lasted. But six months is too short. :-(
