Review on πŸ”₯ LIDORE Micro LED 20 Warm White Lights: Battery Operated, Timer & Ultra Thin Copper Wire Design by Ashley Roberts

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Eats batteries - on off timer doesn't always work

I bought four: red, green, blue and mixed. The colors are bright and pleasing, but wow, the battery drain is terrible. I would give 5 for the colors and ease of use but that could be misleading for anyone interested in ease of use. So I put 1 so the poor battery life will be noticeable to anyone who chooses it. Some may average it and give it a 3, but the 3 is lost if no one is looking at it. Using AA lithium ion batteries (each requires 3 batteries) they last about 4 nights. At a cost of $1.25 including tax for a single battery, that works out to $3.75 for 4 days, $6.65 for a week and $28 for a month. If I use four strings of 20 lights about 7 feet long for three weeks, each battery costs $19.95 and all four cost $79.80 for three weeks. But there are also problems with replacing the batteries every four days. I believe they work from 6pm to 1am (7 hours). Maybe the Li-ion battery is too expensive for them, but I bought them on Revain's sale. I had to buy a spare battery to last three weeks. Also, they have a switch that should turn them off after a set time, but on two out of four it didn't work. I figured he would turn it on the next day at the same time as the other string I have, but that doesn't seem to be happening. For convenience they are quick and easy to string and use and the colors are pretty nice. I particularly like the blue but everything is better than I expected but if you're worried about the cost and you have 6 strings it could be a monthly bill for some electricity. If you buy one you will need about 16 batteries for three weeks or rounded up to 6 batteries per week as you cannot buy part of the battery. If you buy three and use them for three weeks, you will need 48 batteries! stock up! UPDATE: Green lasts longer than blue, red and multi-colored cable almost twice as long. It is noteworthy that in a multicolored line, all other colors go out, and green continues to shine. Something in green gives a much longer battery life.
