AirTag will NOT drop.
I was looking at trendy collars made from leather and clear TPU or plastic that snap together. I just felt that the leather ones would loosen over time and the AirTag would fall out, while the clear plastic/TPU ones could open up. So I was looking for a single solid construction with a very low chance of dropping the AirTag. This option is ideal for these purposes. As you can see in the video, most of the AirTag is closed around the edges. Even without a metal ring to prevent falling out, only friction keeps it firmly in place. So if you're looking for a safe design with a durable material that offers protection, this works perfectly. And it was the cheapest AirTag holder I could find at $3.49.
