Review on πŸ”₯ Cozy and Warm: Sunbeam Imperial Nights Twin Heated Blanket for Ultimate Comfort in Mushroom, Poly/Cotton Blend by Cody Stroop

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Should have gotten earlier

On every cold Minnesota winter night, when I slip into a nicely toasted bed, I thank myself for having this blanket. it seems to be holding up well for a few months. The preheat feature is nice, but not essential, as it's just as easy to set the device to high power when you turn it on, and then turn it down when you're really jumping into bed. LCD display Clear to read and always backlit when the blanket is in place, making it easy to see at night. The device gets a little brighter when you press the button for a few seconds and then dims a little. I suspect this is to get the light out of the way at night, but the overall level is so low and the difference between "low" and "high" is so small that this feature really doesn't make much of a difference . big fan of the feel of most polyester electric blankets. With 10% cotton it looks a little better, at least for me. I still prefer to cover this unit with a cotton cloth and cover so I don't have to touch it. It could only be better if it had separate heating zones for the legs so that more heat can be supplied there. than on the body. The cables are also an inconvenience, but there's not much that can be done about them today. One day all controllers will be wireless, and maybe some of them are already wireless. Overall, I'm glad I bought this blanket and would highly recommend it to others. **** Updated 11/20/09 **** Season. The controls still work great and the above review still stands.
