Bought to replace the previous pair that had just worn out! I wasn't sure if I should order large or XL because I'm somewhere in between. So I took a chance and went with Large, which was a little awkward at first, but worked out well. However, if you have wide or well-sized hands, XL is your best choice. I was impressed that I was able to control my phone's touchscreen the first time I used it, but after a few weeks this feature seemed to stop working. Now I just take off the glove, it's safer and faster. These gloves have good padding around the knuckles, less on the palms, so some may prefer more padding than they offer. But I do the pulldowns at 90 pounds and they're good for that. I wonder how they will behave after the first wash. I'm pretty sure this will disable the touchscreen entirely, but I've already given up anyway. As long as the gloves don't fall apart, I'm happy. So far, so good!
