Review on 💡 Enhanced DEWALT 20V MAX Handheld LED Work Light (Tool Only, DCL050) by Peter Parks

So I originally bought this for camping use from my 4Runner that I'm converting to an RV. However, the first use for me was when I was working on the damn red ECU of a Toyota 4Runner. I have some DeWalt batteries at the moment and thought this would be a great way to keep my AGM and Li-Ion batteries in my 4Runner that are used for other equipment/lighting etc. Battery performance seems high even at a small 1.5 Ah. thin 20 volt batteries that I often use in my little driver for fast work. I didn't turn it off completely, but it stayed on the maximum (3rd) power indicator on the battery for at least 25 minutes or more, using the work light at full power. very impressive. It could use a better way to cycle through the backlight settings, and a few more options would be nice, like red light (nice for not interfering with your night vision in the evening). There might be a blinking option in the Hello setting for "SOS" but I hope I never need that and it's not typical of task lighting anyway. It would also be nice if the light rotated in other ways than just up and down. This would help a lot when you can't hang the light in the exact direction you want. It feels pretty sturdy, and even with the flimsy batteries, it still stays straight no matter the angle. It seems like it should fail, but for me it doesn't. Performance and build quality were important points for me in this purchase and as such I am very happy with this light so far. In that hello attitude, don't show it in anyone's eyes. It's damn bright. It's not a headlight, after all, so don't buy it because of that, although you could probably get by with it. It is not designed to "throw" a beam of light a long distance. Is it more within range, maybe 14 feet? Didn't measure. Definitely works like a flashlight, it only needs to be for a small group of 1 or 2 so you don't blind everyone.
