Rated 3 stars due to poor workmanship. The product is a typical "Made in China" product. It meets X thickness x width x length X specification with two handles. Yes, it's a jackknife. More precisely, it is an object in the form of a jackknife. I tested the steel with a spark on a grinder and it turned out to be of good quality. The blade is sharpened very roughly. Make sure you have a way to clamp the blade, some good files, sandpaper, rough and fine stone, a sling, and a few hours to sharpen that rough blade to working condition. There are many good videos on YouTube for sharpening chisels, planes, knives etc. I will continue after I get my training to improve the quality of work.
