Winter Helper - Snow and Ice

I live in the North East - lots of snow - and drive a Subaru Forester. I'm only 5ft 2" tall and I have a hard time getting onto the roof of my car without leaving the doors open or getting on the seats! This brush definitely helps, although it can be difficult to get the roof off quickly when the snow is very heavy. wet and deep.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Compatibility

Red not blue included

Arrived, unpacked and red! I'm like S! I looked at my order again and the picture is blue. If I wanted red, I would have asked for red! The rest seems to be of normal quality. The attachment collar for the telescopic part is not very good, I'm not sure how well it will hold up, I think we'll find out this winter, I'm not holding my breath.

Terrible! waste of money!

Wiper has a retractable arm; however, it won't snap, rendering it unusable. I bought this specifically for a long arm to clean the top of my SUV and it was a waste of money. It also didn't work well for window and windshield washing, the bristles fell out when simply brushing off the snow. It's just a poorly made product.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Swivel head is convenient for storage, extension lock does not hold

Replaces the old version with the same brand. The swivel head works great. This is a good snow brush, but the retractable shaft locking mechanism sucks. It doesn't stay locked. There doesn't seem to be any way to tighten it past a certain point. Pretty annoying and will probably be replaced with one I can personally test at a regular store.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

I buy a new one every year. i love it so much

Well I love it so much I buy it every fall and have it with me all winter when I go in and out and my office works. The adjustable broom and scraper are ideal for clearing large amounts of snow from the car. (Only idiots leave their whisks in their cars, so they have to dump snow on the seat to get to it.) And the scraper holds up well all season. Many scrapers are too soft and don't hold the edge well, while others are so hard they break. That's a good compromise.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Could be better good for snow and ice

I like that it slides out and the head can move too. However, it's difficult to get it to do what you want it to do, especially when it's cold and you're wearing gloves (the prime time you'll be using it). Additionally, when you shake heavy snow off the machine, the handle simply rises a shorter length. Won't hold position even with the resistance of the visor. And the bit you press to turn your head is very sticky and takes quite a bit of effort to work. Not something you want to deal with…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Has problems

For clearing snow from airplanes

Not just for cars? We bought more than a dozen of these machines to test snow removal around aircraft engines and on wings. The retractable handle is great for reaching over the fender or the top of the hood. We have also removed deicing fluid from the intakes with a squeegee with great success. They worked great for an application they probably weren't intended for. The only downside is the locking mechanism on the handle extension. A simple rubber compression washer to keep the extension from

One snow brush to rule them all.

This is my second snow brush in this style, bought for my wife's car. I've had this for about 5 years now. I like that the head folds down for easy storage next to the seat. I like the ice scraper, it works well. I like the brush on the telescopic handles. I can shake a few inches of snow off my entire truck even when it's on the roof. He comes to the end and lets me push off without being covered by snow. Even a mop is useful for scraping melted snow off the glass to keep it from freezing. The

Incredible value!: Ice scrapers and snow brushes

In the winter I live on a tundra that is hit by snowstorms. We have high winds (50+ mph), heavy snowfalls (350+ inches) and it's normal enough that we still have to get up in the morning to dry the car and go to work, frostbite damn it. much better than I expected from such a cheap product. As a tiny woman driving a big 4x4 in the frigid hell I live in, I needed a retractable lever, brush and scraper, and as a college student I didn't have the disposable income for the high-quality scrapers…

  • Nothing here
