I like that it slides out and the head can move too. However, it's difficult to get it to do what you want it to do, especially when it's cold and you're wearing gloves (the prime time you'll be using it). Additionally, when you shake heavy snow off the machine, the handle simply rises a shorter length. Won't hold position even with the resistance of the visor. And the bit you press to turn your head is very sticky and takes quite a bit of effort to work. Not something you want to deal with when it's freezing outside and your gloves are getting in the way of your dexterity.
