Fragile and disappointing.
Tie rods are not durable at all. The first one broke the day it was installed. Despite the greatest care, the rest broke after a few weeks. They look great but are very fragile. Ours have been used on fans/lights that are used daily. If you are just looking for jewelry and will never wear it, this is what you want to buy.
