This material is amazing. I buy a lot of stuff from Goodwill and they always mark the prices with black permanent marker. This is the best tool for removing ink stains, slime residue from price tags and other similar dirt. Of course I think it's really just turpentine, but it smells nice and the handle makes it very easy to just rub the stain you want to clean. You'll need to wipe Goo-Gone off often with soap and water as it's an oily substance (again I believe it's turpentine) or you'll need to wipe it off very gently if you've used it on something that You can't wash easily. . If you have a large area to clean, use a spray bottle.
