Bought to replace a flip key I bought on eBay many years ago that was starting to break (particularly the spring had worn out) and could not Find a seller who would only sell iron. Realistically, I could just stick the spring from this key into the old shell, but I spent the money on the whole block, so why not swap everything out? Installation was easy (sic: annoying) as it takes a few minutes to set up the spring properly without stretching it. Must have taken 5 years of this thing's life to fight it. In any case. The build quality is similar to the eBay key, but I found that the three screws holding the top and bottom of the case together are longer than the eBay key (see photo). They're still crappy soft metal, so don't over-tighten or use the wrong Phillips screwdriver; I can't remember if it was PH00 or PH0 which was perfect. Any. I like my flip key. years have passed. Having a new one with new hardware might seem like a small thing, but to me it's a huge functional improvement.
