Keeps heat away from components
Bought these to use as a heatsink for a USB charger that was used to power an LED strip in the hot wash next to our house - it shared itself the power supply with an exhaust fan, which drew some energy. The heatsinks appear to cool the charger somewhat. Also used as a heatsink for the Apple lighting and HDMI adapter, and cools the converter. I thought these guys were a bit taller hence 3 stars.
