    Clean with acetone and paste

Like pure copper. I would like the adhesion to be a bit stronger but it looks like it will work well. If there are any problems I will update the review.

    Pros
    • In stock
    Cons
    • It was possible to choose a newer model

    Works great in PiBoy DMG

Fits in very tight cases. I used mine in PIBOY DMG. Fits tight. I did notice an improvement in pacing, but it wasn't a ridiculously good thing. Still, I recommend always having a heatsink with you.

    Pros
    • Consistent test results
    Cons
    • Sad hardware

Useless heatsinks are good for fans and cooling

The heatsink is fine. It gives off heat to the baking of the Raspberry Pi. As for the radiators. It's useless. I've used them with a fan and the temperature never drops.

    Pros
    • Easy installation
    Cons
    • Almost never

    Dissipates heat from components

Bought these to use as a heatsink for a USB charger used to power an LED strip in a hot laundry room next to our house - it shared itself the power supply with an exhaust fan that draws some energy. The heatsinks appear to cool the charger somewhat. Also used as a heatsink for the Apple lighting and HDMI adapter, and cools the converter. I thought these guys were a bit taller hence 3 stars.

    • New

    • No insurance

Spare Parts. suitable for computers and accessories

The metal case used two racks directly on two small chips, so only CPU and RAM received heat sinks. Later it turned out that they make 4 copper sets for Pi 4b. But I didn't need two.

    Pros
    • Don't waste too much time
    Cons
    • Some problems

Great for PiBoy - Fans and Cooling

I used this for PiBoy DMG. That's good, because they're so short they barely fit, and copper has a higher thermal conductivity than aluminum anyway. I recommend using Arctic Silver 5.

    Pros
    • Quick Change
    Cons
    • Unusable Features

Inexpensive copper heatsinks for Raspberry Pi

My Raspberry Pi sits on a cooling rack and has several modules that limit the type of cooling solution I can use. They are easy to install and produce a slight drop in temperature.

    Pros
    • Done
    Cons
    • Slightly torn

    Keeps heat away from components

    Pros
    • Heavy duty
    Cons
    • Damaged

The RPI4 gets very hot, so good low profile copper heatsinks are required. CPU temperatures drop below 60 degrees C. If you plan to add a fan hat, the 2x20 stacking header https://www.amazon.com/Adafruit-Accessories-GPIO-Stacking-Header/dp/B00TW0W9HQ fan hat will help over flat heatsinks.

    Pros
    • 1 year trial

    • Available in white only

Cleaned with 91% isopropyl, good adhesion, good temp

I used one of those all in one cases that has a sliding cover where part of the body touches the board. It's named after the noble gas and "The One" from the Matrix movies. I had horrible temperatures with this case and I don't think the USB controller ever properly interacted with the metal of the case. So I decided to use a more proven method: good old copper. After a quick clean with isopropyl alcohol to remove adhesive residue from old pads (don't use acetone - it's too harsh for most…
