Lights make an attractive addition to my covered patio. Over time, the light isn't that bright anymore. I bought zip ties to attach them to the deck rails. The solar panel never got 100% charged even when charged with the included cable. I live in a very sunny place and the best charge was only 75%. This is probably because the product was returned by the buyer. When I unpacked the lights, the items and packaging didn't have that "new, fresh, factory-fresh look or feel". The bubble wrap was soft and breathable. The solar panel wasn't shiny, the new black. It was almost greyish in hue. I didn't send it back because everything seemed fine and initially was, but now that the solar panel isn't charging more than 50%, even with 10+ hours of Southern California sun, it's not working. it doesn't even charge up to 75% like when you first set it up. So the lights themselves are great, the solar panel isn't great, at least the one I got.
