Review on PowMr Controller Negative Lithium Bluetooth by Don Pintac

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Configurable suitable for generators and portable power supplies

Some information about the specifications from the manual, I plan to use it for some lithium iron phosphate batteries; He doesn't seem to have any pre-programmed settings for this, but he can customize it to the user's needs. The meter I received showed battery readings that differed by 100mV and PV voltage readings by 250mV over the full range. There is no way for the user to calibrate it and when I asked about it they said the stated tolerances on the readings are 300mV. If it was just an indication it would be fine but it would affect the charge voltage and lithium cells are very sensitive to overcharge damage so this should be taken into account when deciding to use this for lithium batteries. Lead acid is more tolerant so will probably be fine with less precise control. It only reads a resolution of 100mV, which strangely doesn't allow for precise control. The Solar app doesn't remember the Bluetooth connection setting, so you have to reconnect every time you open the app. It works, albeit with a rough UI feel.
