I'm not a sportsman, I don't use this device like other people do. I underwent physical therapy for almost a year after osteochondrosis reached a critical stage. Two doctors and a physiotherapist said that they could not help me, that I needed an operation. Luckily I'm stubborn and found a really good therapist who got me out of total disability into normal functioning, was able to go back to work full time and was only taking Tylenol a few times a day. No surgery! One very useful exercise is the resistance side step, but I couldn't figure out how to replicate this exercise at home. This device is exactly what I was looking for and it will help me go from gym class to simple exercises at home. The resistance is slightly greater than the PT, but I don't stretch as much; However, I know from experience that with added resistance I will continue to strengthen. I just wrap one end around the doorknob, close the door and go!
