I have these sponges for my Hakko fx888d. They are definitely not as good as the original sponges and definitely burn easier. much easier + they smoke a lot. I've only used the first twice and it already has a small burn dent. But it works pretty well. I think it's the best value (e.g. $1.40 for a sponge vs $4.17 for a Hakko net). Of course the sponge is cheaper but if it goes bad a lot quicker it might not be as good but I would say it will last quite a while. I think this is honestly the best value for money. Overall they work well and I'm glad I have them. I think you guys will probably like them too for the price. Hope this helps someone.
