Dig up my iron spike. Not suitable

The first time I used it, it ruined my only soldering iron tip. No other sponge has done that. It was way worse than if I used hard water to clean the tip. Useless.

Pros
  • Colour: black; Weight: 27g; Packing: 10 sponges
Cons
  • Not working

They are cheaper and work just as well as original Hakko sponges

sponges fit perfectly on my Hakko FX88D soldering station. These sponges are denser than Hakko sponges but just as clean. I have had no issues with burning, melting or odors using these sponges.

Pros
  • This soldering sponge can also be used with a temperature controlled soldering iron system.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Pretty good lips. Overall I would recommend. Happy I bought.

I have these sponges for my Hakko fx888d. They are definitely not as good as the original sponges and definitely burn easier. much easier + they smoke a lot. I've only used the first twice and it already has a small burn dent. But it works pretty well. I think it's the best value (e.g. $1.40 for a sponge vs $4.17 for a Hakko net). Of course the sponge is cheaper but if it goes bad a lot quicker it might not be as good but I would say it will last quite a while. I think this is honestly the best

Pros
  • Sponge size: 50 x 60 x 10 mm / 2 x 2.4 x 0.4 inch (L*W*D)
Cons
  • I will add later
