The knife is sharp as everyone says I know it will beat my previous knife that 5 times was more expensive. Steel isn't that good, but it seems like a good tool. He's very sharp. It's not the kind of knife you iron and paper cut with in your office (it could very well be), but it's the knife you want to use on camping and hiking trips, and if you lose or damage it, you won't really sweat or kick me. Leave your fancy expensive knives at home, grab this one and actually use it. BEAT IT UP.it can take it. Just oil it and sharpen it and it will serve you well. CAN HE BREAK? Maybe if you really try you can damage it. WILL IT LOSE ITS SHARPNESS? Yes, of course, but you could probably take it with you on a few trips before you really need it. I want to use it as a camping knife. If necessary, cut out random objects and a baton. He does that excellently. ARE THERE CHEAP KNIVES? Of course, now you can go to Walmart and probably buy a knife the same size for even cheaper. You can beat him without giving a second thought and in that regard he will be exactly the same. BUT this Walmart knife will feel exactly the same as it is; just a Walmart knife. This knife really beats its weight, it comes right out of the box and you'll feel a lot more like it's value for money compared to a Walmart knife.
