I love these stools - I purchased the grey/beige combination, although not a grey as I had hoped they still look fabulous. There very durable and heavy - look very high end. I feel the price is excellent for what you are getting - hard to find a nice heavy made stool that swivels in this price catagory. The only negative is the "scuff" plate around the base. There is white tape that covers the plate that you peel off (not a good idea) to expose the plate - my chairs are almost a year old and so the tape has been on there a while. It's so sticky and nasty that it peeled off some of the black coating on the plates (all the chairs did this and I ordered 6). I had to take a black sharpie and fill in where it left bare metal. It would be much better if they had just used an antique bronze plate with a clear plastic pull-off protector. Plus it would have matched the chairs better. Other than that the chairs are a very heavy quality and look high end - I'll overlook the negative.
