I have had this filter for almost 6 months now. The water flow has not slowed down. I ended up changing the external filter as it was very dirty. 4 people use the shower every day so it gets a lot of use. Once installed, the external filter can be easily replaced. This takes about 1 minute. You can even replace the main internal filter. I think I have at least 3 months left with it so I will be replacing the main filter in 9 months total. Overall I am very happy with the filter. I've heard others report that it clogs up after just a few weeks but I can't believe it as my water hasn't even slowed down in almost 6 months. I would recommend this filter. As a side note, if you have chloramines in your water (which I do) the best way to deal with them is to use a shower head with vitamin C. It handles this 100%. The L720 plus filter only retains chlorine and other contaminants.
