This is my second Zomei tripod. This model seems to be more durable than the previous one. The previous one was with a ball head. I think I like the swing style more than the ball head. It feels more durable and appears to be able to carry more weight. Also the phone holder has a much better design. It can be installed in 2 ways. The spring is taut and holds my Galaxy Sx Plus very well. I walked around with the phone still in place and didn't feel like it was going to fall. The legs of the tripod are extended by 4 telescopic parts with a clamp for attachment. Again no complaints. It also has a bubble level. Overall a good, stable, solid and well built tripod. The remote control is standard, but it works. The only problem might be that the mounting head is all plastic (good quality and thick plastic, but still plastic) and the swivel mechanism, while working well, isn't very smooth. But for the price I think it's a good investment. and will definitely last a long time.
