I've just received the ring so I can't say how long it will last but I can say this: it seems to be of good quality, especially compared to some of the overpriced ones Gold rings I've looked at jewelry stores. Most of them are lightweight and look like something from a candy store, but cost thousands of dollars. This ring is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. I would highly recommend it to any gold ring. I'm not an expert, but I've been looking for an engagement ring for a long time and found something I want to share with you. When you buy a ring, think about it. If you tried to sell the ring in a jewelry store they would tell you that all they could do was melt it down and sell the gold. They will then offer you a price per gold weight that will likely be around $45 per gram (most men's rings average around 10 grams, which works out at $450). You would then subtract from that with a formula that works out 18k 14k 10k etc because the rings are not solid gold. Basically you get nothing, maybe $100 or $200 if you're lucky. Now if you were to buy the same ring from a jeweler, it would charge between $14 and $16 hundred because for some reason the weight of the gold suddenly doesn't matter in the sale. "We have to pay designers, jewelers, dealers, whatever"... I can understand that they should make money, but let's say a 3000% increase over the price of a gold weight? And every day people fall for it. So the next time you're at a jewelry store and pick up that $2,000 ring, think to yourself: its true value is the weight of gold minus all the different metals mixed with gold. Don't cut yourself off! If you're in the jewelry store, ask for a tungsten ring and they'll happily sell it to you for four to five hundred dollars! Do yourself a favor and buy this ring! TO UPDATE. The company CONTACTS ME to see how I liked the ring (who does that?) so wow the customer service is just amazing! I told them the ring is big and I need half a size smaller. What have you done? They sent me a new ring without returning the original! Absolutely the best customer service I've had at Revain! Recommend this seller!
