Review on πŸ‘Έ Magical Princess Felt Play Mat for Kids: Hours of Imaginative Fun by Jae Newton

Great mat but flimsy - puzzle playmats

There is a lot of detail in this card. Although not officially Disney, it has the location of almost every princess. Cottage for Snow White, Ice Castle for Elsa etc. My girls love it so far. My knees, however, are not. I bought it hoping it would be more like a rug and feel soft on it. No, that is not so. I even bought a rug to put it under and it still doesn't. I figured it was probably meant to be placed on a rug (it has a good grip on the back that holds up well on my floors but not the rug I bought). I've also found that you really can't sit or lie on it when using it for gaming. Yes! I had to think things through. I figured kids would just sit on it and play with other toys instead of interacting with the "map" as much. But they love it for this purpose. So now I'm sitting on a hardwood floor next to a rug and things aren't going quite as I planned. He will likely move to the playroom or one of the bedrooms to reduce the discomfort of playing on a hard floor. Otherwise I like it very much. We use Little People princesses and they work great.

Pros
  • NON-SLIP SURFACE so mat stays in place while playing
Cons
  • Difficult to tell
