Pretty decent shades, considering the low price.

I bought three of these shades for the living room, where I have a front-projection TV setup and needed a near-black room. On that count, they work just fine. The backside of the material is the same color as the front. Black would have been better, but on a lot of these roller shades, the backside is white, which is worse if you have any kind of gap for reflected light to pass. They aren't especially fancy and are pretty lightweight, but so long as you don't have children swinging from it, it seems "durable enough" for my needs, especially comparing the price to what you'd pay at the local Blue or Orange store.Others have commented on how the string-and-plastic ball chain which it comes with it kind of flimsy and cheesy-looking. It is both. And also too short.Fortunately, these ball chains come in standard sizes, and it's pretty easy to remove the end cap of the shade and swap out the original chain with a metal one. This specific one requires a 4.5mm bead diameter (chain size #10), and I found a 30 foot roll (enough to do all three shades) including clasps for $19 here on Best Buy from a different seller. Specifically: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08D7MDCV2/I also reversed one of the three, to put the chain on the left side. Again, fairly easy. Just remove the plastic hubs from the inside of the tube that the fabric wraps around (the non-driven hub needed to be pried out with a small pocketknife), swap them around, and re-assemble.All in all, a definite win. I think I'm going to buy a couple more of these for the east-facing bedroom.
