This is a great printer if you know what you are ordering. Most negative reviews are due to people not knowing what they are ordering. This is a printer with a POWER PLUS USB port. It requires a special cable that, when connected to a computer, powers the printer and transmits data to the PC over a single cable. This means you don't need to use an extra power connector for the printer, which is very convenient, but the computer you connect it to needs a special board with 24V USB ports to connect it to. Of course, Epson Powered USB cables are hard to come by for some reason. You can find an Epson powered USB cable here on Amazon (Ignore the pictures as they all seem to use a picture of a regular USB cable, but if it says an Epson powered USB cable is more than $30 costs, then this is most likely what you need). You probably won't find it with Prime shipping. However, the good thing about the versatility of this printer is that you can also use a regular power adapter and USB cable if you need to. (You need to buy PS180 power adapter and regular USB printer cable separately). The printer itself prints very quickly and cleanly.
