I get vaccinated every three months as my primary contraceptive. At the end of this time there is a small window where I have to take my next shot. Despite reading and researching that my form of birth control is quite effective, I still prefer to "be more careful than sorry" which is why I have found this wonderful product to use during this short wait! While I can't say for sure if this will work on its own (everyone is different, as are our forms of birth control), I really like this product. If anything, I feel more comfortable and confident using it (by safe I mean preventing pregnancy). Just a reminder to the ladies that these products do not protect against STDs. Always think about your birth control options so you can take care of yourself and your body. I've noticed an uncomfortable scratchy feeling if we don't wait 15 minutes, so be patient and wait for it to completely dissipate. I try to square it as little as possible and even try to fold the corners to reduce discomfort when inserting the product. The product works great if you follow the directions and WAIT the FULL 15 minutes.
