Review on 🔌 Tech Wash by Nikwax by Brandon Mix

My husband and I ride our bikes and the miles in Southern California add a lot of junk to our jackets. Bought this to wash our Rev'it Airwave2 and GT-R Air2 jackets, lots of white textiles that are now quite a dirty gray. Since I plan to do a lot of washing, I bought a liter bottle to save money. I hand washed each jacket separately in a plastic tub, so I decided to use less Nikwax. I also used a toothbrush (dipped straight into the bottle) to clean the really dirty spots, which was a lot of work. Needless to say I was very happy with the final look, the road and exhaust grime washed off perfectly and our jackets were restored to their original white condition. still with white patterns and very dirty. I went to the same trouble by getting my jacket wet and brushing the white and red areas with a toothbrush. I took this photo just after I started work on the jacket and showed the jacket after it had been soaked for a few minutes and I had just started using the toothbrush. The brightness really started to turn white again, and the red fringes and cuts also lightened up after some scrubbing. The sink water was really ugly and dark after all the dirt was removed. I used a separate plastic rinse tub, three good dips and rinses to remove as much residue as possible, then removed the hose one last time and hung it outside to air dry. I/We are very happy with the results and would recommend Nikwax for motorcycle clothing as we have used them. We got great results, no odor issues afterwards and it washed out completely. We've been wearing jackets ever since, no problem. It's worth the expense and effort to protect our investment in quality riding gear.
