Review on 🔴 EBC Brakes DP31114C Redstuff Ceramic Brake Pad with Minimal Dust Generation by Andrew Vogel

These are excellent brake pads, they are very linear over a wide temperature range from low to very high. I have an OEM conversion of large ECS brakes, essentially installing Audi A8 rotors. The effect is to shift the balance of the brakes forward, slightly reducing stopping power. Another thing you need to know is that they require a bit more effort than Green Stuff, which also work just as well for regular fast street driving. So what is the difference between red and green? The red material is linear but requires more pedal power, the green material requires a little more power cold than warm. So with the red stuff you step on the brakes and modulate them depending on how fast you want to stop. With green stuff, you slam on the brakes and they brake harder as they get hotter. So when decelerating from speed you need to reduce your pedaling power as the brakes get hotter because they work better when they get warmer. The next best thing I have. Tried PBR ceramic, works too, but was a bit small so the caliper rattled when going over bumps. Eventually the rumble led me to the EBC.
