It's amazing how difficult it can be to find the right brush for the right purpose. I was particularly pleased with the look and strength/hardness of the bristles on this brush. I have VERY dry skin and reduced feeling in my hands due to a neurological issue. To maximize my falling ability I need to keep my hands hydrated - wear gloves most of the time and use Aquaphor several times a day. It's amazing how fast the skin cells on our hands grow. I have to rub them vigorously every night to remove dead cells etc. As long as it keeps the bristles tight. I think they last longer than other brushes I've bought. Stainless steel not only looks and feels good, but is probably more hygienic than wood products. I think I would give 5 stars if the c was wider. On the plus side, its flow makes it easy to rub between your fingers and does a great job on nails. I took a chance and bought two, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again.
