HENGDA KITE-Upgrade Classical Dragon Kite-Easy to Fly-55inch x 62inch Single Line with Tail

This is a fun little kite. I took three kites, this little kite and a double pack with an octopus and a delta. The kite was easy to set up and made from ripstop nylon which makes a nice rustling sound. I slightly adjusted the bridle by adding a small knot (a shorter bridle for light winds and a longer bridle for higher wind speeds). Starts right away on the first try. Try adjusting the scales if yours keeps diving - this works for most single line kites. Kids and even adults passing by often stopped to look and even take photos - they all said they love the sound it makes. One child said he could tell it was a dragon because he could hear the flapping of its wings. The kids are amazing. In total he spent about 40 hours in the skies from about 20 feet to a peak of 300 feet with winds ranging from 8 to 25+ mph. The kite flew flawlessly and effortlessly every time. Eventually a couple of the props broke while flying it off the beach near Astoria, Oregon. The wind is always strong there and on this day it oscillated at 25+ mph. The little guy caught a strong gust of wind and then fell onto the sand with broken wings. Overall, considering it's under $20, it's definitely worth it. I suspect it must be a long time unless you're consistently flying in winds over 15mph. Even after the accident and fire, I was not disappointed and ordered a replacement. Again, for less than $20, the pleasure is well worth it.
