Review on 🎧 Red Sony MDRXB50AP Extra Bass Earbud Headphones/Headset with Mic for Phone Call by Mike Nix

Revainrating 5 out of 5

At $30, they're twice the price of most "regular " headphones, but four times the quality.

If you're looking for affordable quality these guys are for you. Like most people, I am financially limited. I try to buy the best product at the cheapest price. I bought the Skullcandy Ink'd 2 (Black/Red) earbuds a few years ago for quality at an affordable price. I was disappointed. They sounded pretty good at first, but as I listened more and more I found the highs incredibly rich. When listening to rock, cymbals can sound like broken glass and become distorted. The bass also seemed impressive at first, but with prolonged use I noticed that it was just a wrong and too weak bass sound. In the end, I settled on headphones that would give me what I wanted, a balanced soundstage with crisp mids and punchy bass. If that's what you're looking for, then these headphones are for you. At $30, they're twice the price of most "regular" headphones, but four times the quality. The bass is dynamic and able to deliver a powerful sound without drowning out everything else in more electronic songs (like the intro of 2NE1 I Am The Best). ), while delivering punchy bass in rock and metal. Mid and high frequencies are reproduced clearly and without distortion and your ears do not hurt at high volumes. The design is cool, although the way they get into your ears is a bit strange at first. The microphone for phone calls is also easy to hear. If you can only afford $10 headphones, by all means buy what you can. However, if you can afford a slightly higher price, buy them, you won't regret it. Update 7-24-18: I see some feedback that they break easily. It's unfortunate for those who happened too, but that wasn't my experience and I use it in a variety of settings. Listening to music at my desk, mowing grass in 100 degree weather uphill and downhill for 3 hours. They fell out of my ear when I was washing dishes in water (never fully submerged in water) when using an iron, they were ripped out of my ears or headphone jack many times for various reasons. They still work just as they did the day I bought them and I'm approaching two years of owning them.
