On airplanes I like to wear headphones instead of headphones. They make it easier to fall asleep. A few months ago I bought TaoTronics active noise canceling headphones. I needed a different kit for my wife so I settled on the Sony MDRXB50AP which has no noise cancellation. With TaoTronics, there is a big difference in background noise, at least during flight, when noise cancellation is activated.
