Review on πŸ”Œ AG Hair Midnight Air Tourmaline Ionic Dryer - Designed for Black Hair by Bridget Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great warm setting but no diffuser

This hair dryer is one of the first to actually have a warm setting. My other hair dryers are on the typical cool setting, warm enough to burn my scalp and hot enough to singe your hair. This dryer's warm mode is like a warm breeze on a summer's day, not the warmth of an open oven door. For curly-haired girls, this is crucial. Too much heat not only dries out my curls, it also damages them and makes the frizzy curl nightmare worse. The Ag hair dryer is lightweight and therefore easy to handle and has two standard speeds. This hairdryer seems to dry my hair pretty quickly, but since I use a diffuser almost exclusively, it's hard to tell. The only thing that I find strange is that the hair dryer at this price point does not come with a diffuser. It comes with two concentration jets to direct the airflow to more specific areas. They work very well for roots. But the lack of a diffuser is unexpected. Luckily I have a diffuser that I bought separately and it works great for curls. The cost of this seems a little expensive, but perhaps the tourmaline ion hair dryers are special with their hair straightening expectations.
