I've worn these shoes to church, to weddings, to the beach and to work. They look good and are comfortable. You're as close as you can get to walking barefoot without going barefoot. I will say that the insole (removable for washing) is a thin piece of fabric plus a foam insole. (2 separate layers). The fabric layer fell apart in the washing machine but the foam piece is holding up well. I wouldn't wear them for a long walk but if you want to feel comfortable and look a little dressed up they are perfect. I would buy them again. I've been wearing them every day at work for about 10 months and the shoe and insole are holding up great. They look the same as when you bought them. Good product!
