I bought this after understanding that curly hair needs to be "tamed" and satin helps a little in your sleep to NOT wake up like a Medusa! I have curly hair, the length to the chin is all one length. I wash it about every 2-3 days. I don't have a silk pillowcase. I ordered a large mulberry silk hat. Pros: 1. Arrived well packaged and on time as expected. Was clean and well built.2. Came with an allergy test silk swatch (I think) 3. I ordered a large but with a medium sized head it was tight on me. It fits well, but if I had a lot of voluminous or thick hair, it wouldn't suit everyone. I would increase the size if I would buy again.4. The inner material is NOT the same as the outer material, I'm not a silk expert but I think it's not silky on the inside so I'll flip it over to try again tonight5. My hair was neatly pinned in before bed, I woke up with nothing crazy and managed to spice up the curls pretty well. In this respect I am glad that he does what he promises. Cons: 1. It's small in my opinion, next time I'll order more. Medium size head.2. Inside is a different material so I turn inside out to use mulberry silk. I will continue to sleep with it and try it after washing the day before. Now October 2, 2020 LOVE this cap! Comfortable, stays in place and I love how my hair looks and stays soft. Bought another. July 2021, on my 7th hat (love the colors) and I gave it to my curly-haired friends. We are all very happy and so far this is the ONLY pure silk piece I can't wash at night! 😊
