Review on AKRacing Office Obsidian Computer Chair - High Back PU Leather, Ergonomic, Reclining, Swivel, Tilt, Rocking & Seat Height Adjustments, 5/10 Warranty, Carbon Black by Blake Burrell

Originally I wanted this color to be very versatile and not flashy which I expect from an 'office' chair. I don't buy these chairs. not for the aesthetics, but for the perceived "comfort" potential they will provide. I have to say I was very disappointed, I upgraded to their older, less expensive "Ouverture" line because after a few years my Overture chair was showing some wear and the backrest wasn't quite working as it should. That being said I was able to get it fixed when this chair arrived and changed back and fourthly for now I prefer my old battered less expensive chair to this one. At the moment I'm even considering returning it because I really don't like it, the comfort just isn't there. I feel like I don't have enough space for my buttocks compared to my old one. I almost don't feel "embraced" by the old chair like I used to. my neck currently hurts when sitting and i never had this problem with my old chair and it's only after a few hours. The old chair that was fully present had a base that was actually so resilient/loosened that it could rock even with the chair locked without having to "unlock" the chair. They reject it and immediately encounter rigidity and resistance. The armrests seem cheaper, as do the wheels, and the wheels are ugly as hell too, and you're trying to achieve a "racing" rim design where, from an office chair, I'd prefer just the flat black wheels I have with my "gaming" chair. I was expecting such stupid wheels. Aside from that, I bought the same chair for my dad and he seemed to enjoy it. Maybe I'm just too attached to my old chair and the comfort it offered me. I'm going to give it some time and let it walk a bit and see if it gets better but for now I really just want to get it back and either move on to the next step or a completely different chair because my back/neck hurts from multiple hours in.
