Works great with spares

I bought this hour meter for my Generac alternator. The alternator is about 8 years old and I don't think the original hour meter ever worked. The guarantee has expired. So I bought this device. Just a little more in width so I had to widen the hole with a file. The generator has been running for about 70 hours, mostly lately. So I set up an hour meter by plugging it into my laptop charger for a few days. It is nice that this device works with AC or DC power from 5 to 240 volts. Easy to read and a lot cheaper than buying a genuine Generac part for almost $60. I recommend this block.
