Review on 🔭 Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi with SkyMax 102 – Go-To Alt-Az Tracking Mount for Time-lapse and Panoramas – WiFi Enabled App Control by James Bull

I have been an amateur astronomer for a few years. This is my fourth telescope and I am very happy with it. The tripod and mount are excellent. I love how the app uses the motorized mount (something I got tired of initially); In fact, it simplifies and speeds up the alignment process. The OTA (the telescope itself) works well, but its optics are better for brighter objects like planets and not as good for deep sky objects like nebulae (it has a fairly narrow field of view). I think this would be a great option for beginners or for those looking at the planets and moon first. I'll probably update this OTA soon to something that observes nebulae and clusters better as these are my favorite objects to observe. I mainly use it as my "travel scope" as everything (except the tripod) fits in a small case and you could probably even find a smaller tripod if you shop around!
