As the title says I really didn't expect the bearing to be of such poor quality. The balls appear to be square, not round. One in four which is perfectly acceptable, I think after they groove the stem it can run a little smoother. I put a lot of lube in the cases but they seem to ignore the lube completely. The only thing I can't complain about is the rod mounts, but when used with a 3D printer, the table mount can be too low and hit the mounts at full stroke. It's beyond me how anyone could call them "things", plain bearings. There is absolutely no smooth movement for the registry. The brass bush works softer. They stick to the bars in certain places and can cause problems in applications where smooth operation is required. Although I haven't installed them yet, I can only imagine what my 3D printer would sound like, maybe like a freight train. You only learn that after you buy it. Update: I installed them on a test bench. . After moving it from end to end two or three times, I noticed two small pieces of metal on my bench. Turns out these are two balls of excellent, smooth-running, durable plain bearings that fall apart before you actually install them in the printer.
