I have been a cat mom for 2 years and during those 2 years I have used light kitty litter and I have to say I hated it. The urine clumped but got stuck at the bottom of the tray and when I picked it up it fell apart completely so the tray was never really as clean as I would like. I bought this filler based on the reviews I read. got it, cleaned the tray, put new litter in and cleaned it the next morning, no smell, scooped out her urine and it didn't fall apart when I picked it up. This is by far the best fountain pen I have ever had and definitely worth the money.
