Review on ๐Ÿง 24 Large Cupcake and Muffin Carrier - Convenient 2 Layer Snap-on-Lid Caddy Container for Easy Transport and Storage by Becky Chopra

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A great cupcake stand that can be adapted for a cake.

I've tried several different cake/cupcake stands at Revain and while it's not perfect for my needs, this one worked the best. I wanted something that had cupcake holders (ideally more than 1 dozen) and could also support a cake with some height tolerance (i.e. not just tortillas). I found it durable. There is no top carry handle but I find the side handles perfect as I plan to use them for cakes occasionally as well and I wouldn't trust the top handle to be secure enough to carry a finished cake. (Some carriers have thin lids that can flex and loosen on the sides when picked up by the top handle.) As noted in one review, the top is also flat, so you can carry a different item on top by using hold on to the sides if needed. . . Note. When closed, it is NOT airtight. I don't need mine, but just FYI. I wish it was already designed to support the cake, but I plan to cut out a piece of cardboard and wrap it in foil so it sits on the bottom (red) part - see photo. This gives me more height than I need (about 7 inches), but I'd rather have too much height than not enough so I don't have to worry about frosting or toppings on the layered cake. If I've ever made cupcakes and tortillas (less than 3 inches) I could put this cake on the cardboard liner at the bottom and then still carry a dozen cupcakes on top. This was another stretcher I ordered but returned: Chef'n Sugar Cubic Cake & Cupcake Stand with Lid and Handle, Cherry. It has some interesting qualities (especially how flat it holds), but in the end it just wasn't right for my needs. See my review for more details if it suits you. There are no discounted items here. Just adding my review as I've tried a few to compare and wish I had some of that information at the time. . The right one depends entirely on the individual needs of the baker. This matched mine.
