Review on KOHLER GENUINE 1188999 Toilet Canister by Badazz Webb

Bought because the canister seal replacement was bad. Replacing the seal did not help. Small traces of casting on the canister prevented a good seal of a 3 year old toilet. Just used a new canister with the seal already in place. Waste of parts, but buying a whole new assembly is cheaper than buying individual parts. Save additional details if required. Also, two units were missing a nylon washer on the outside of the tank (I didn't need it, I just needed the canister). QC Kolera slips. I need another canister so I will buy this part again. The replacement gasket (0.05mm thick) did not seal the canister completely - too big to fit in the slot. The nylon washer was also missing. This was ordered for two toilets in both units. The original lasted 5 years before leaking frequently. Last 2 years before a small leak.
