Not to start from scratch. I 100% recommend you to buy the wire harness and install the kit for your car. I have a 2000 Toyota Camry and it has made my life easier. It was too easy. Sound Quality: I was expecting decent sound quality, but it actually sounds 100% better than an OEM car stereo. Music via Bluetooth and Android Auto is very clear and crisp, I couldn't believe it. Now I'm thinking about replacing the speakers with better ones to take advantage of the new head unit. Android and Iphone: I have an Android phone so Android Auto is my option and it works great, as soon as you connect your phone the Android Auto interface launches. For this reason alone, the purchase of this stereo system is worthwhile. My wife has an iphone so I tested it too and it works without any problems. The touchscreen responds very well. The display is very good, you can adjust the brightness as you like, there was no problem with reflective sunlight, and you can also set different background colors. I tested some of the movies and videos I had on a USB stick and my daughter screwed up 15 minutes before we got bored. I left a wiring harness for the rear camera but didn't install it because it was already night and that's a little more work. I'll update as soon as I do. Overall, the menus are easy to navigate, but I couldn't take advantage of some of the improvements. I am very happy with what I paid for the Android Auto head unit.
