The Dolica was surprisingly light, about 2

I have a Nikon D3300. I also had a Dolica Proline 57" tripod. The Dolica was surprisingly light at around 2.5 pounds and held my camera and the included 50-200mm lens well. It was estimated at 13 pounds. When I bought a new Tamron 70-300mm VC lens, Dolica couldn't hold the mount anymore. When photographing the moon, I could see the image coming out of the center of the viewfinder. No matter how hard I twisted the knobs, I would go back to the camera store and compare different tripods. I originally wanted a $280 Manfrotto. But then Revane offered a promotion. A $50 coupon toward a future camera/lens purchase is available with the purchase of select Mefoto tripods. So the deal for me is to buy this tripod. I am very happy with it. It's a lot heavier than the dolika I had. He's bigger too. I'm small, 5ft 2in, so I usually don't even have to unlock the last set of tripod legs. It's quite tall with a raised center column. So if you are a tall person, this might be a good tripod for you. It has an extra dial that you use to tighten the crown but still be able to move it around a bit and then you can tighten the position with the main dial. Another one from me, there was no such feature on a tripod. When I mounted my lens on this tripod, it held the position superbly. I didn't notice my picture slipping through the viewfinder. I can't manage to fold it all the way up and fit in my bag properly. is this a trick?
