I've had this dryer for a little over a year. Everything was working fine until yesterday. Here I blow my hair when flames and sparks start flying out of them! It was like July 4th in my bathroom! Of course I pointed it at the back of my head so it set fire to the shit from my hair at the back of my head. The sparks not only burned my hair, but also my towel and floor mat. And anyone who thinks that the rear filter on the device is clogged with fluff is wrong. I always keep it clean and lint free. I strongly recommend not buying this as it is FLAMMABLE!
